Cheryl Martin
GVI Regional Director, Nepal and India

Cheryl is the Regional Director of GVI Nepal and India.   Her GVI journey began back in 2012 when she joined GVI Cape Town for a six week internship.  She joined the staff temporarily and ended up staying 4 years, mainly in the role of Programme Manager of the Cape Town hub.  Cheryl then moved on to Nepal as the Country Director at the end of 2015 and now is the Regional Director of India and Nepal.  Prior to GVI, Cheryl worked as a teacher and has a particular interest in Early Childhood Development and Early Years Education. 

Bryan McAllister-Grande
GVI Sustainable Development Fellow, 2018-2020

Bryan received his Ed.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he is also an Early Career Scholar. His work examines the relationship of education to civil society, the history of the social sciences and humanities, internationalization and global learning, and the relationship between research and social action. He is Curriculum Integration Manager at Northeastern University’s Global Experience Office. Previously, Bryan was Associate Director of the Office of Global Affairs at Brandeis University.
